Workshops

One of the aims of the SIG is the organisation of scientific events such as special sessions and satellite workshops at larger conferences like Interspeech and ICPhS (International Congress of Phonetic Sciences). The workshop series is calledHSCR that stands for "History of Speech Communication Research". The workshop proceedings can be found in the ISCA archive.
The next meeting will be the 6th HSCR workshop to be held in Budapest from 20th to 21st September 2024

2022: the 5th HSCR workshop "Lacerda 120" in Porto: proceedings.
2021: the 4th HSCR workshop in Prague (satellite event of Interspeech in Brno): proceedings.
2019: the 3rd HSCR workshop in Vienna (satellite event of Interspeech in Graz): proceedings.
2019: a session entitled "History and the discipline of phonetics" at the 19th ICPhS in Melbourne (but not organised by the SIG): proceedings.
2017: the 2nd HSCR workshop in Helsinki (satellite of Interspeech in Stockholm): proceedings.
